The Beer:
Sometimes the greatest partnerships seem to be brought together by fate. In 1860, Ebehard Anheuser bought the troubled George Schneider brewery in St. Louis. Shortly after the purchase, his daughter married the brewer's supplier Adolphus Busch. From that moment on, the two names - Anheuser and Busch - would be forever linked and, together, they would be associated with the finest beer. today Anheuser-Busch can boast of being the largest brewery in the world.

The Delivery:
Another of the world's most influential businesses is the General Motors Corp. The General Motors Truck Co. was founded in 1911 in Pontiac, Michigan, and the first GMC trucks were offered the following year. By the start of World War II, the company had become the GMC Truck and Coach Division of General Motors Corp, and had become the world's largest manufacturer of military vehicles. After the war, GMC produced a variety of commercial use trucks, both for heavy duty and lighter work. A cab-over-engine model proved a particular favourite, capable of carrying various loads of different weights.

The Model:
Now a 1948 GMC C.O.E pulls a bright red refrigerated trailer marked with a vintage 1948 Budweiser label in a brilliant die-cast model. Precision-engineered and marked with Anheuser-Busch graphics, your Budweiser 1948 GNC C.O.E. is produced by - and available only from - Matchbox Collectibles.
